When you are busy painting and suddenly realise the tide has come in considerably!!

Loved working on this painting on the Topsham esturary in Devon, an oil study to capture the light and colours. When I started the boat was facing the other way because the tide had gone out, but it turned direction mid painting with the incoming tide!
